Norway and the Czech Republic win in relay

In the men relay over 4 x 7.5 km the Norwegian team was for a pretty long time part of the midfield, with about 50 seconds behind the leader. As 3rd relay athlete Johannes Boe brought the team back to the top. Although he needed even 3 reloads, he even cloud pass on in first position thanks to his outstanding skiing performance. Six teams were just one minute apart. Tarjei Boe was concentrated at the shooting and needed to reload only once. So he could keep up the great performance of his brother and finished first with an advantage of 30 seconds and a total time of 1:12: 09,8.

 

Gabriela Soukalova and Veronika Vitkova (CZE) also successfully lead the Czech team to relay victory over 4 x 6 km according to the Norwegian brothers Johannes and Tarjei Boe. In total the Czech team needed 14 reloads and had to accept one penalty lap. In the end they won with 25 seconds ahead in 1: 07,11.
