It was truly tragic what happened at the woman individual race of the Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti (Finland). The Czech Gabriela Soukalova was already celebrating her victory, when Yurlova Ekaterina from Russia, who started with no. 93 and is talked about as an outsider, remained flawless and could unexpectedly beat all her rivals. Soukalova had already given interviews as winner of the race and was after losing her world champion title so overbearingly disappointed that she wasn´t able to comment on her second rank.

Still, congratulations to this absolutely great result!
