Johannes Thingnes Boe (NOR) has proved to be in best form at the world cup in Presque Isle (USA) just before the World Championships in Oslo:

He won confidently the 10 km Sprint without any mistakes and with 27 seconds ahead of Anton Shipulin (RUS). In the 12 km pursuit race he had to accept 2 failures. Nevertheless, he crossed the finish line with only 24 seconds behind the Frenchman Martin Fourcarde on an excellent second place.

This performance pushed Johannes Boe to the 6th place in the overall ranking, his brother Tarjej Boe is just before him in 3rd place.
