Hochfilzen, Austria: Norway's Johannes Thingnes Boe was perfect in a wire-to-wire win in thes men's 10K sprint and celebrated the 6th World Cup win of his career.  His clean shooting and superb skiing brought him a 24:34.9 victory, 14.3 seconds ahead of Germany's Simon Schempp. Third place went to Andi Birnbacher who was another 3.6 seconds behind.

Emil Hegle Svendsen was the early leader with a fast clean prone stage. He missed a standing shot which proved to be his undoing. However, Boe starting with bib 10 quickly took over the Norwegian cause. He cleaned prone, took the lead and from that point was never out of first place.

Boe commented that this shooting was crucial this week: "the big difference compared to last week was the shooting. I knew that my performance at the shooting range was pretty bad lately. This week I trained dry in my room and it worked." Congrats Johannes!
