Probably due to his last shot the Slovene Jakob Fak missed the victory at the 10 km men sprint at the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz and finished third behind Simon Schempp and Evgeniy Garanichev. He cleaned prone and remained also flawless at the first four shots standing, then he missed the last one and had to go into the penalty loop. He came back on the track in third place and defended this position until the finish. The Slovene sums up at the press conference: "It was a very good race from me today. The last shot very annoys me, otherwise I could have achieved more today. Anyway I´m also happy about the third place."
