The Austrian pro triathlete Georg Swoboda won for the third time in a row on the long distance (3,8 km swim /180 km bike/42,195 km run) at the 27th Triathlon in Podersdorf, Austria and thereby improved the nine-year-old course record by nearly four minutes in 8:07:21 hours.
With a 4:08:41 hours-cycling time on the 180 km course Swoboda laid the foundation stone for the victory, which also provided him the national champion title. At the end of the second-placed Czech Petr Vabrousek rode nearly ten minutes slower and could not make up time in the marathon on Swoboda. Marton Flander from Hungary ranked third. Andreas Fuchs finished on a good 5th place overall and thus 3rd in the Austrian Championships.
Congratulations Schurli to your strong performance!
