Moravec on podium at World Championships

Ondrej Moravec from Czech won the bronze medal at the 20 km individual race at the Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti (Finland) behind the Frenchman Martin Fourcade and the Norwegian Emil Hegle Svendsen. The 30-year old Czech had one failure and came in with a deficit of 40.5 seconds. Satisfied with his performance, he said after the race: "The third place is a huge success for me. It makes me proud to have achieved a medal for our country."
